Harley Davidson Grill

Probably anyone who has driven from Provo to Salt Lake City has seen the huge barn structure that houses the Timpanogos Harley Davidson Grill. (Oh ya, and dealership.)

As fun as walking through the crazy cool motorcycles is, their sliders are even better. (Mini- burgers) They have little pulled turkey sandwiches and filet mignon sandwiches too. Personally, I say it is all about the burgers here. The Rickster has bacon, bleu cheese, ... and other delicious things. But who could want more than bleu cheese? Mmm.

Don't forget the shoestring fries. People seem to either love them or be pretty indifferent. To me: they're different and therefore cool.

Oh, How Lovely...

BYU-tiful!

I decided that in honor of 1- Experience Utah being featured in the Daily Universe and 2- me being in not Utah [NYC!] I will try to post a photo a day from my BYU campus photo shoot.

Last Sunday I got to thinking that I needed to take advantage of the beautiful autumn colors on campus, so I went and took some pictures. The weather wasn't ideal, but I think the pictures turned out pretty well and it was definitely fun playing on the dead campus all day.

Provo's Farmers Market

If I'm not mistaken, there are only a few more Saturdays that the Provo's Farmers Market will be going on. If you haven't had the chance to go yet, you definitely need to.

The first time I went was at the beginning of the summer and Shake Your Peace was there on their bike tour. They were so fun to watch and use "pedal-power" to power their concerts. Audience members hop on a couple of their bikes that they make stationary and connect to their amps. Brittany and I got to power the song 'Juss a Little Bit Mo" and our picture made it on the Provo's Farmers Market blog.

[Ok, so maybe I just think it is just cool that Brittany and my picture was on the blog and am doing some backdoor bragging...]

Of course, there's more than just cool music at Provo's Farmers Market. How about all the amazing food? Yes, please.

Last time I was there I had Argentine empanadas, limeade, little flat French(?) cookies [can't remember what they were called], and probably some other things. It was all so delicious. And of course, the best part was relaxing in the grass and eating with my friends, Scott and Rick.

Also, we saw a bunny!

Hey Punkin'!

Speaking of autumn, another great part of autumn (and let's just say Utah) that I have been Experiencing this year: Costco pumpkin pie! Approximately the size of a football field, delicious, and 6 dollaz. [Anyone that knows me, knows I love Costco... maybe to the point of obsession... some people go mall shopping when they are bored-- I go Costco shopping. It is euphoric.]

(An Einstein- not my Einstein- though this does look like the one I frequented in AZ)

Any mention of Costco pumpkin pie must almost always must be followed by a mention of Einstein's pumpking bagels with pumpkin cream cheese. [Actually, any mention of euphoria must be followed by a mention of Einstein's pumpkin cream cheese bagels.] I'll save my synonyms of heaven for another post because these bagels just speak for themselves.

Provo Canyon

My dad has always told me to not let school get in the way of my education. As previously noted, this has been a little bit of a struggle this semester and Experience Utah has been in a little bit of a lag.

Fortunately, Claire had a beautiful idea to take a brain break last weekend and drive up Provo Canyon.
With the onset of Autumn, the changing colors in the Canyon are absolutely breathtaking right now. A.k.a: STOP what you are doing and go! Seriously, studying can wait an hour and a half. Go call your best friend or kidnap your roommate.

We got up to Heber and explored a little. Exciting news: Heber is getting a Wal-Mart. :) I only got pictures on my cell phone, so thank you to Utah.com for the map.

Bridal Veil is visible from the road, but seriously the colors are what make me so in love with autumn. Honestly, the other seasons can't even compete with autumn.

In closing, a quote:

Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns.

- George Eliot
